On New Years Day, 2009, my resolution was to carry a camera with me every day. It was a great day. I went to Coney Island to watch the annual Polar Bear swim and got some great shots. I was off to a good start.

I have a Canon G7 with me most days and I have, if I consider my iPhone, kept my resolution. Are there pictures to be taken every day? Maybe, and that is what I hope to discover.

I love summer. I love everything that happens in summer. I love the people who hit the streets. I love music in the park. I love open air theater. I love ice cream, this year I especially love Rita’s. As much as I love the Jersey shore, I love the city in the summer.
